The day she rolled over...

I try not to turn this into a mommy blog but this blog is about me and being a mommy has become one of my prime responsibilities. Also, being a first time parent - mundane things like rolling over take center-stage when your just about 3 month old baby has been trying to roll over for days! The saddest part is that you get a picture in an email and missed the act (of course it will happen again) but it will be the 10th or 12th time...not the first time. Come to think of it, working parents will end up missing most of their childrens' milestones. We can only be thankful for the miracle of technology and grateful to loving family members to share these accomplishments with us.

Edited to Add: Day 1 of rolling over was very frustrating. She had to work really hard at getting her left arm out from under her. Day 2 - it seemed like her full night's rest after all that work had helped. When I got home from work, she turned over without a fuss and with the ease of a pro. She even managed to mistakenly turn over again onto her back but that's a tougher skill to master and will take her some time. She got really annoyed that she couldn't do it again - it's tough being a baby!
